2003 Mendocino County Cabernet Sauvignon
What a concentrated dark fruit wine this is. Our 2003 Cabernet is deep with
blackberry fruit, dark chocolate covered cherries, and currant. The flavors
from this wine linger on the palate for what seems forever (did I mention
deep dark fruit), that are framed beautifully with oak, and offer sturdy
tannins that dance harmoniously with the fruit (did I mention deep dark
fruit). A complex wine that was aged for 31 months in 2 year to neutral
French oak barrels. Grill it, this wine will go with it. The 2003 Cabernet
will continue to develop over the
next 5 to 7 years.
Like the 2002, in my
opinion hard to find a Cabernet this
good, at this price! ONLY 614 CASES MADE!
